Aleks Dreska, DVM

Dr. Aleks Dreska grew up in Bend, OR, and received her Bachelor's degree in Psychology and Environmental Studies from the University of Puget Sound in 2007. After years of working in emergency veterinary clinics and animal rescue as an assistant, she decided to go back to school to complete the prerequisites for veterinary school. Dr. Dreska graduated from the Carlson College of Veterinary Medicine at Oregon State University in 2020. The following year, she completed a one-year small animal rotating internship at a busy emergency/critical care and specialty hospital in Kirkland, WA. She has a particular affinity for cats and proudly holds the title of "cat lady."

Before vet school, I lived in Portland for 7 years - She is incredibly happy to be back in the town she loves so much.
